🧱 Origin Story

Gold is fully backed by 188,059 Gold Ore NFTs held by 2,600 miners, minted as a result of real SHA-256 proof-of-work hash mining on themine.io earlier this year. Gold ores currently have a floor price >20x the merchant value of gold relative to their gold quantity.

Mining was permissionless and verified on-chain, powered by NFT “Picks” and collectibles from over 120 leading ApeChain NFT communities. These Ore NFTs are the only source of Gold.
